Ok it just hit me last night exactly how many fanfics I have promised to people, either as part of the CSI Miami contest, or just because.

So here's a (I think) complete list of stuff owed. If I'm missing you, please let me know and I'll add you.
This way there's no way I'll forget what I owe and to whom.
This is in no particular order as I always write what writing-craving I have that day. So wonderful contest winners please don't be mad if your fics aren't done sooner, I will get there just as I will with the long-ago promised ones.

It's that time of year again when Christmas has passed and the New Year is merely days away; it kinda hits me how fast the year has seemed to have gone. Such a cliché, I know, but kinda true.

To all of my watchers, I love you to bits and want to say a huge thanks for watching me. If there's anything particular over which you started watching me, let me know and I'll try make sure I'll have more of it in the new year.

For everyone who's commented/faved any of my work: thanks so much. It makes me feel loved
For those who have helped keep various of my club's alive, you guys are simply awesome!

So I wish all of you an awesome New Years, and an epic upcoming new year. I hope all your goals, dreams and wishes come true because trust me when I say they can. Sure there will be bumps along the way, but you'll get there eventually. And you can always 'note' me on here if you want to talk about something. I'll always lend an ear.

This is crazy. In a totally good way, but still crazy. It's snowing. It NEVER snows in Wellington. Well, it didn't, until Sunday. It's so beautiful here right now.

And I feel totally British. My backyard (having a forest at the bottom) keeps reminding me of the Forbidden Forest and I keep expecting Severus to walk up my backyard lawn, having a deep conversation with Lucius
Man, that would be totally amazing!

So apart from the cold, I'm totally loving it. Am walking around in my fluffy bear hat, receiving many compliments for it (a police officer even waved at me for it this morning ) and just having a jolly old time. I also keep expecting Christmas movies to come onto tv and carols to come onto the radio

But yeah, everything's totally awesome right here at the moment.
Am heading to uni next year, so that's gonna be interesting.

Ah, New Years. A time to celebrate the passing of the old year, a time to forget your previous mistakes of the year and start anew, a time to set new resolutions that will invariably be broken in the next several weeks.
I love New Years. Makes me go…well, sentimental is the best word for it I guess. Or maybe it’s just the promise of presents…

Russian New Year is epic. It’s like our version of Christmas. We get together with friends and family, open presents, and party well past midnight
Ah, what’s not to love?

So, since I’m finally updating my blog (seeing as I got sick of my hostile other one), here’s the news for the year:

First off, I’m heading back to school. Which is kinda cool, because it means that I will once again be able to see most of my friends (well, the ones who haven’t yet left for uni) like
This time round, I’m gonna try uber hard with my studies, and will try very very hard not to get distracted by gorgeous CSI Miami and CSI actors (zomg wasn’t that just Jonathan Togo?! ) See, that’s how easily distracted I am

Apart from that, as cheesy as this is gonna sound, my fantabulous sister and I are reviving my darling Basil. No, not the plant, but the adorable fox that has graced my gallery with his Santa outfit.
Now she’s planning on becoming his personal tailor and get him a whole new wardrobe. Can’t have him trotting around naked, can we?
So…yeah, watch this space. More foxy photo-shoots to come. Boom boom.

And just when you’ve almost had enough of my ramblings, I come to my point in writing this stupid blog in which I tend to ramble about things that possibly don’t matter to anyone else.
~I wish everyone who is reading this, and all my watchers, and friends, and visitors, an extremely happy New Year. I hope that everything you work and strive for will become a reality, and I hope that you have just as great a year (if not better) next year.

I would like to thank everyone who's supported me and my work over this year, and those who have stuck by me since I first joined dA, four years ago.

A kind friend of mine brought to my attention that some of my atrwork has been stolen, and then claimed as someone else's original work. This pissed me off to no end.

I post my photos up on here so people can enjoy them, not so jerks can steal them and claim them as their own.
I love my photography, and I love to share my photos with everyone on dA, most of whom are totally awesome people. But I find it unfair to have work taken.
All my work is copyrighted - it's right there under the actual piece. This means simply: it's not yours, so don't take it!!

And this isn't just my photos, I found a couple of my own fanfics taken and submitted on a different website. Not cool at all!
I write for the same reason I take photos - I love it, and I love to share my stories. They're mine (well, unless i specifically write one for you, in which case half the story is yours). So don't pretend they're your own.

My point is this: if you like a photo (or story), and you'd like to use it, go ahead BUT please credit me (and link back to the original), or at least ask.

The last thing I want to do is to stop posting my stuff up on here. But if this continues, I might have to.
You might think that I'm just being over-dramatic about the whole thing, but I'm not. It freaking hurts. Mainly because I've been naive enough to think that everyone's really nice, and would never stoop to something like that. Now I know I'm wrong.

I love what I do, but if this continues, I might have to stop altogether.

So, yeah, you've been warned. If I see my work used without permission, I'm not afraid to go homicidal on your ass. And if that happens, be very very afraid.

Apart from that, there's really no other news. I'm away from dA for ages only cos I've moved house.
Work is still same as ever(ie boring), except that we have some new staff, so we have some new eyecandy around the store But, in all honesty, they are totally awesome guys, and really brighten up the long and boring evening shifts.

Oh yeah, Halloween's coming around. I was supposed to spend it with darling but unfortunatly plans changed Which sucks big time, cos I'd really been looking forward to going trick-or-treating with him, dressed as my regular pirate-y self (which kinda defeats the purpose of dressing up ).
Instead, I'm trying to organise a Halloween party at work. We all wanted to actually have it at work (party at Subway!), but we've been told we're not allowed. My consolation prize was the mop (don't ask )

I'm also pretty sure I'm getting a blue-tongued skink for Christmas. I'm giving them an ultimatum - either I get a pet (preferably the skink), or I'm getting a piercing again. But since that's not enough of a scare, I'll tell them I'll get a tattoo instead. I already have one planned out and everything Although, in all honesty, I'm such wimp that I might not end up doing it. But we'll see.
